Overriding Position Charge-Out Rates

Each employee must be assigned a position. This is a record containing:

This set of charge-out rates in a position makes it possible for charge-out rates to be applied to an employee's work in projects.

You assign an employee a default charge-out rate in their employee details record by selecting one in the list set up in their position.

However, the default charge-out rate associated with a position may not always be suitable for a particular situation.

For this reason, it is possible to override position rates in a project.

And it is possible to override both position rates and project override rates in a budget.
