Draft Bill
- To open the Draft Bill setup screen, open the Reports view in the left-hand pane.
- Click Project in the left-hand pane.
- Click Draft Bill in the left-hand pane.
- The report setup window opens in the main desktop. Specify the relevant report options.
- Click Submit to generate the report.
Report Options
- The Overview option generates a report that includes client and project names, project ledger code, and total unbilled value on the project and project manager. This is a normal report with one row for each project.
- The Summary option generates a report that includes a header displaying client and project names, client and project ledger codes, address (client, default billing, or project default billing), and project analysis. The body of the Summary report contains a report body split into Time Summary and Expense Summary. The report is specific to a single project.
- The Detailed option generates a detailed breakdown of the Summary (without header information), and a billing history. The report is specific to a single project.
- The Exclude Projects with Zero WIP Values checkbox enables you to exclude projects that have no outstanding amounts to bill.
Note: Write-offs are recorded as positive values in the Transaction Value, Difference and Transaction Value (Inc VAT) columns.
