You can generate a report that includes only employees that belong to specific analysis groups. This enables you to ensure that your reports focus only on the information you need.
There are several types of analysis group:
You can assign an employee to employee analysis groups in their employee details record's Employee Analysis Groups section.
Two employee analysis group are set up by default: Department and Supervisor. However, you can set up your own employee analysis groups if necessary. Any employee analysis group you set up will be available in the Employee Analysis Groups section.
You can add department analysis codes to the Department analysis group. Any employee belonging to a department in the group will be included in a report that targets the group.
Similarly, you can add supervisor analysis codes to the Supervisor analysis group. Any employee with a supervisor in the group will be included in a report that targets the group.
You can assign additional approvers to an employee to ensure that their time and expenses can be approved at the supervisor level, if their supervisor is not available.
Individuals belonging to the Supervisor analysis group can be assigned as additional approvers.
These additional approvers have full supervisor approval rights in relation to the relevant employee.
