Using Project Phases in Time Entry

Recording a Time Entry

To record a time entry, carry out the following steps:

  1. Click the New Time Entry button at the top of the Timesheet window.

Alternatively, click and drag on the piano bar at the bottom of the screen to define a span of time.

If you drag over a region of the piano bar that already includes one or more time entries, the system will set up additional time entries that 'fill' the region without replacing the existing entries.
  2. Complete the time entry fields.

  3. Click one of the Submit buttons to submit the time entry you have set up:

You have recorded a time entry.

Note: Because time increments set within System Setup are equal to 10 minutes, a timesheet entry of 15 minutes is rounded up to 20 minutes - i.e. two units of 10 minutes.
