Merge Activities
It may be the case occasionally that the System Administrator needs to tidy up the set of activities that have been created in Sage Coretime.
The Merge Activities utility enables the administrator to merge two activities.
- In the Utilities view in the left-hand pane, select Database Utilities.
- Select Merge Activities. This opens the Merge Activities window.
- Select the From activity. The details of this activity will be merged into the To activity, and then the activity will be deleted.
- Select the To Activity. This will be the new consolidated activity.
- Click Submit.
All entries that were made in the From and To activities will now be associated with the new, consolidated activity, which will have the name of the To activity.
Great care must be taken when merging Activities because the process is not reversible. However, the changes are logged in an audit text file, so that in future it will be possible to track back and determine who merged activities and when the merges occurred.
