Password Policy

A user with the Password Policy permission granted in their User Profile can configure the system's password policy, and maintain each employee's password properties.

User passwords are encrypted - they are not readable in the Database. This ensures that passwords remain secure.

  1. Open the Utilities view in the left-hand pane.
  2. Click Database Utilities in the left-hand pane.
  3. Click Password Policy in the left-hand pane.
  4. The Password Policy section contains a number of settings that apply to the whole system. Make any necessary changes to these global settings.

    Click Submit to apply your changes.

  5. The Employee Settings section contains four main password properties than can be enabled or disabled for each employee. The system administrator has a fifth option.

    Make any necessary changes to these properties.
