Overriding Position Rates

Positions

A position is a record containing:

Each employee must be assigned a position.

This makes it possible for charge-out rates to be applied to their work in projects. For example, the charge-out rate of an employee with the Senior Partner position might be €100 per hour, whereas the charge-out rate of an employee with the Junior Administration Clerk position might be €20 per hour.

The position also applies a set of system access rights to the employee based on the role they perform in the organisation. (You can also apply system access permissions to the employee in their User Profile).

And the position can specify a report profile to be applied to all employees assigned the position. This specifies the reports the employee can access.
