Project Override Rates

You can override the default rates assigned to an employee. To do this, you set a Project Override Rate in the Project Details screen. When you do this, all employees in the project are charged at the override rate level.

All positions must have an equivalent charge rate. For example, if charge rate C is the override rate, every position's C rate must be set to a value.

This is often useful where a specific set of rates for staff members have been agreed with a client.

Example

The partners in ABC company are currently set up at €100 and €90. Clerks are all set to €30.

However, a deal has been done to charge all partners at €130 per hour, and clerks at €45 per hour, for a particular project. You need to:
