WIP (Work in Progress) Tab

The right-hand pane contains the following information:

• A summary as to how the WIP balance is made up.
• Buttons used to raise WIP Invoices.
• The total value of the budget for this project, if any.
• WIP to date as a % of Budget.
• Job Report button.
• Write to or E-mail Client.
• A drop down menu to display all or specific phases.
• A drop down menu to display all or individual users.
• The option to display in Summary format.
• The option to view entries at cost.
• The date range can be limited.

Invoices and credit notes are usually raised in the WIP tab.

It is also possible to raise an invoice in the Debtors Ledger, but this will not have any effect on the value of WIP.

Two types of expense entry may be shown:

• Personal, reimbursable, expenses entered by employees.
• Outlay Expenses entered directly onto the job sheet.

Where time or outlay has been billed, a sign (or symbol appropriate to the base currency in use) is shown to the left of the item.

Other symbols, or icons used on the face of the project review screen include:

	A red currency symbol indicates that a time or expense item has been tagged by a Provisional Invoice .
	The currency symbol is green in colour when time and/or expenses have been tagged and an Invoice/Fee Note issued.

You can view notes attached to time and outlay entries by hovering over them. The note text is displayed in the pane at the bottom of the WIP tab.
