Work Types
A work type enables you to associate a span of time with work that is charged for at a particular rate.
Typical work types include:
- Standard.
- Overtime.
- Time in Lieu.
- Public Holiday Time.
For example, suppose that you use a work type called Public Holiday Time with the percentage 300. Work done under this work type is charged out at triple time.
You can also apply a percentage to the employee cost in the
Edit Employee screen.
Adding or editing a work type
- Open the Utilities view in the left-hand pane.
- Click Client Utilities in the left-hand pane.
- Click Work Types in the left-hand pane.
- In the main workspace, click NEW or EDIT, and specify the necessary work type settings.
- Click SUBMIT.
